Improvisation Festival NL.nl  – COVID Policy as per November 2021

The board of Improvisation Festival NL feels obliged to keep the festival safe for all participants and staff. This is why every participant is expected to comply with our COVID policy as stated below. If you choose not to comply, we respectfully would ask you to refrain from participation, to avoid any legal consequences for the organization, admitted participants and/or staff.

At this moment in time (November 2021), no one can be sure if and which COVID-restrictions will be in place in any form next spring. This is why we will adhere to the following:

  • To enable the event, all participants will be required to comply with Dutch government regulations for events this size at the time IF Nijmegen actually takes place.
  • If current regulations would still apply, an EU-compliant Covid-19 check such as a ‘Corona check app’ or ‘Corona passport’ would be required to provide proof of protection. European countries are considering 3G, 2G or even stricter measures for this purpose, but at the same time regulations may be loosened next spring. We will be monitoring the developments and adjust our policy to ensure a safe event for all participants and staff.
  • If COVID-restrictions posed by the Dutch government and/or the ECDC would cause the organization to cancel IF Nijmegen 2022, all payments will be refunded. For participants who choose to cancel their participation, our regular refund policy will apply, with one exception: If a participant has to cancel his participation due to COVID symptoms up to the day before the event, paid fees will be refunded minus 15% administration charges.
  • Given the unpredictability of the COVID-situation next spring, we can change our COVID Policy if circumstances require us to do so for the safety of all participants and staff. We will inform all participants if we change this policy and publish the latest version on our website www.ifnl.nl.
